SEA Medical Services, Inc. provides its own Medical Review Officer (MRO) for its clients as part of our Third Party Administration of employee Urine Drug Screen testing. Our MRO, Dr. Rodney Bobbitt, MD, reviews ALL results after testing is completed to:

1. Ensure that the chain-of-custody and testing protocols prescribed by DOT under 49 C.F.R. part 40 are in full compliance.
2. Notify a driver of a positive test and determine whether the test should be declared negative in accordance with the affirmative defense  for prescription drugs provided under the regulation.
3. Report test results to the company in accordance with the regulation.
4. Serve as the sole custodian of individual drivers’ test results.
