Supervisor Training

Companies must provide training to its supervisors and company officials whom it authorizes to make the required determination of whether there is "reasonable suspicion" to test a driver for drugs (or alcohol).

Per FHWA regulation 382.603, the training must consist of at least 60 minutes on the physical, behavioral, speech, and performance indicators of probable dug abuse.

FHWA’s training requirements constitute the minimum carriers must do. Thus, it is legally sufficient for a company to provide one hour of training, one time, for each effected supervisor and/or official. Nonetheless, the company and its drivers would greatly benefit from periodic refresher training.

SEA Medical, Inc. provides DOT Drug and Alcohol Supervisor Training. All pricing is negotiable for volume work.

Price: $250.00 for two 1-hour courses.
